Question, If someone sent you a video resume that was professionally produced with all of the lights, cameras and action, and was just applying for a regular job, would you call them in for an interview? Probably not, because they are not themselves.
You need to be yourself and simply do a job resume video on your own video cam or camera that is you as you will be in the live interview. Thus, you will be as good as the video resume when you are interviewed in person. After all, you will have to talk to people in person, therefore you have to be yourself not a phony actor.
However, you will still have to be well groomed and dressed appropriately in the resume video.
Furthermore, you will have to tell your future employer what your temperaments/personality and gifts are if you want to get into the top 5% of all job applicants.
